 The massage from Jan

     My name is Jan Jans, I was born in Rybitwy under the lake Lednica not far from Lednogora and Gniezno in Wielkopolska Region. I’m an officer on the retired list. I have decided to answer for the questions about the past of my family and about my stall from drop keel and distaff.
I am trying to find out everything about my family in order to generate the family tree.
The surname usually is written as Jans but I have discovered that in the past was written as Jahns, Janc, Jahnc, Janz, Jahnz, Jantz, etc.  At first our surname was written as Jahns, afterwards Jans.

      My parents and my grandparents after drop keel and distaff was born in Wołyń, but grand-grand parents for my mother side – Szulak Stejskal – in Czech and Moraw. Ancestors from my father side were the old nobility from Wołyń: Antoszewski, Grabiański, Godlewski, Hordyński – Horodyński, Naumowicz, Wróblewski.
Great-grandfother Teofil Jans was born about 1840 in the Wołyń or Galicia, but his ancestors might have been settlers, who might have come to the Wołyń and Galicia in the years 1770-1800 from Germany, but  they might have come throughout Wielkopolska.

     For all I know I can not established where was the first origin of Jans’ family. The Jans lived in the XVIII / XIX and XX in the Galicia and Wołyń, in the regions
• Łuck –Dubno; Gnidau, Malewo, ...
 Rożyszcze, Topulno,  Klepaczew, Plechow,Olganowka, ...
• Równe: Aleksandrówka Janówka, Marianówka, ...
• Galicia : Josefow, Radziechow,  ...
• In Wielkopolska: Poznań, Budsin ( Budzyń), Czarnikau ( Czarnków), Zagórów, Tuliszków, Środa, Kórnik, Jeziory, Zaniemyśl, itd. ...
• In the Śląsk: Kluczbork, Gorzów Śl. Katowice, etc....
And in the many other places.
